Sarah Sloane, sex educator extraordinaire and manager of our Chicago store, reviewed the new Fun Factory ShareVibe. Here’s her review:
Yet another amazing toy from Fun Factory. I swear, if they keep doing this, I’ll have to convert my whole house to a Fun Factory shrine!
The ShareVibe is the newest version of the Share strapless strap-on, updated to include a more streamlined shape and strong vibration. As an FYI, the Share is my all time favorite wearable dildo, both because the shape of the shorter end fits so well into the vagina and because the connection is flat and slightly cupped, so it cradles the vulva and delivers indirect stimulation to the clitoris.
The ShareVibe definitely left me feeling like they made some great changes! While my Share will never go out of my top-ten rotation, the ShareVibe adds some great features. Obviously, the addition of a very strong vibrating bullet (with patterns!) is a big positive – even more when you consider that the bullet can be removed from the ShareVibe and used solo, AND that it’s rechargeable with the Fun Factory Click-n-Charge magnetic charger. But let’s not overlook some of the other big improvements…
First, the ShareVibe is much more firm, both from a penetration standpoint and in terms of the shape of the toy. It curves up against the clitoris more firmly, which may give some folks a better angle (amazing for missionary-style and other face-to-face positions); this also delivers a bit more vibration to the clitoris than it might otherwise offer.
Second, the longer end of the ShareVibe does not have a flared “head”, so it is ideal for folks who are beginners to anal play or who don’t like additional bumps and ridges on their toys (and for those folks, take a peek at the Share XL, which will fit your needs very well).
Third, the bump on the connecting section allows for more direct clitoral stimulation, both from the rocking and thrusting of the toy as well as from the vibration.
Who is not going to love this? Folks who want more flexibility (for thrusting at right angles, for example) may find that the Sharevibe doesn’t work as well for their thrusting. Additionally, people that are looking for something realistic won’t be as pleased with this one.
